I quited my job at Telvista on Monday, the reason I quited is because I sing up for an course which is going to prepared me for the UNAM's entrance exam.
I have been taking 5 hours of calculus daily, and next week I will study literature, I'm also studying Mexican history, with an awesome book call "minimal Mexican history" and according to the publisher, it contains the minimum amount of Mexican history that any Mexican should know, which means I will have no problems on the exam as, there are only 10 questions on the Mexican history section.
I intend to work again on Telvista, probably on august once I got my schedule at the university, so I know what hours do I have available.
Hey I just got into a french course at the IFAL, this is good for two reasons, the most obvious one is clearly the fact that I will improve my french, the no so obvious one, is that the course is on the morning, it ends at 12:30pm and the IFAL is about 20 minutes from from my work place, why is it good? well, the course is going to force me to be near my work place after 12:30pm, there fore I will not be late for work, also since I will be near my work every day, I will not skip a day again for no reason (last week I skipped all but one day of work)
so in conclusion February is the month in which my french gets better and my problems of attendance to my work are gone, or... my french gets better and I lost my job for skipping so many days with out a valid medical reason.
Starting on Monday I will have a new schedule at work which is going to allow me to actually enjoy the day, because I will have almost all day free. My new shift will be from 5:00 Pm to 12:00 am.
I plan on taking advantage of this new scheduled by joining a sport club and programing daily in order to push the my abilities to its limits, so I can get the Zend certification this year. I'm also going to start doing calculus exercises so I can OWN on my math classes once I go back to the university on august 2010. Speaking of calculus this is a really cool video about calculus.
Now I have 2 days off a week at my work, that's real nice because now I will have more time to invest on my new year's resolution. However I will work 9:30 hours a day to compensate for the second free day I have now.
This year has been an interested one, for the first time on my life I got a formal job, working at Telvista has been an interesting experience, I' was, well I'm still to used to just ask my dad for something and he will bought it for me, but now I know that work is a horrible things, its so horrible that you are pay to do it, anyways I still plan on keeping my job at Telvista this year.
Since on a few hours we will be on a new year, here are my New Year's Resolutions:
Become a member of the 501st and be an active member.
Update my blog daily
Get the PHP Zend Certification
Master JQuery
Learn Objective-C
Practice Kendo at least once a week
Exercice daily
Get into school
Learn to drive a manual transmission car
Begin bloging in french
Go back to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints
Get all my websites to get at least 1000 unique visitors daily.
I know there are a lot but they are very doable, all of them are realistic and they only require constant work on them to archive them. thats why I'm going to add a spacial page on this blog that will show my resolutions and a progress status of each resolution, so I can keep track of my resolutions.
I don't think I will be posting anything else until next year (a few hours from now), so have a happy new year and do all your new year resolutions, remember, Do or Do Not, There Is No Try
